VELVET

Dry cleaning is the safest option. To freshen up the surface; brush lightly with a soft clothes brush in one direction. In case of stains, clean right away; gently wipe with a damp cloth, then dry flat. Don’t rub, as this can ruin the fibers.

Always test cleaning on a small spot first. Avoid wringing or twisting. If the velvet gets wrinkled, use a clothes steamer. Store velvet garments hanging with space around them, or folded loosely with tissue.

Please note that velvet can fade if exposed to direct sunlight. Proper storage in a cool, dark place also helps maintain its vibrant color.
